Tom is a famous opera singer, who is scheduled to perform a solo concert. His voice wakes up Jerry, who is annoyed. Jerry repeatedly tries to ruin the concert, as he wants to get back to sleep, Tom retaliates, and the two keep antagonizing each other in front of an audience. At one point, Jerry incapacitates Tom and there is a moment of absolute science. Jerry decides to replace Tom, and performs the rest of the concert. An upstaged Tom attacks him, but Jerry impresses the audience with graceful ballet moves. Jerry gets the audience's applause, as the film ends.
