This is a comedy about a manager who finds himself in a mess after hiring a cleaning lady.One misunderstanding leads to another in a summer cottage.Voi Veljet, Mikä Päivä! (1961) is directed by Veikko Itkonen and Sakari Jurkka and it's based on a play by Tatu Pekkarinen.This is the last of three movies directed by the actor Sakari Jurkka.He does a great job also as an actor playing Roope.Teija Sopanen, who we sadly lost last year, is wonderful as his woman Hilkka.The lead of this movie, Emil Rantamo, is played by Eemeli, who does it with a very Eemeli style.Pia Hattara is terrific as Emilia Rantamo with her "day by day I'll be more beautiful" routine.Antti Litja is great as their son Fritsu.You got to love Saara Pakkasvirta in her debut film as his sweetheart Tipuli with her bouncing around.Maikki Länsiö is superb as Alviina Neitiniemi.Pentti Irjala plays Doctor.Anja Kola (Jurkka), who was Sakari's wife at the time, plays Manager.Ari Laine is Kalle.Rauha Rentola plays Gypsy.This movie has some nice comedic moments.It's quite funny to watch Sakari Jurkka trying to soothe the baby.This movie doesn't give you too much challenge, so it works perfectly to watch on a summer day.It's very light, which works just fine on a day like this.
