Luis Suarez is a rich landowner who is found shot wounded by a gypsy clan traveling in his wagon. They pick him up and heal him, probably saving him from certain death. A few days pass and Luis is enchanted by María de la O, a beautiful gypsy who maintains a courtship with Miguel, who also travels with them. Luis asks María de la O to leave the clan and go with him to his world, very different from the one she knows. Unexpectedly, he accepts the proposal - Movie inspired by the famous song with lyrics by Rafael de León and music by Manuel L. Quiroga.
