A music-filled comedy about the multi-tasker Pekka who, after a few failed deals, has the stubborn debt collector Holm on his heels. To save the situation and get the economy in order, Pekka decides to try to speed up a local revue entitled Small and good. For the revue, Pekka engages some new talents, including the talented young singer Pia. However, the revue company is constantly being persecuted by Holm and Pekka is now doing everything to try to outwit the greedy debt collector.
