In the Los Laureles farmhouse, owned by don Juan Manuel Almodóvar, a wealthy Andalusian landowner, preparations are made to receive José Luis, Juan Manuel's only son, who is being educated at a Jesuit school in England and returning to spend the vacation with his father.
