The Turners of Prospect Road (1947)

A greyhound puppy is abandoned in a London taxicab. The taxi driver decides to give the puppy to his daughter. She raises the dog, and trains it to compete in greyhound racing. They face opposition by corrupt competitors, but her dog wins the derby.
