Narrator Pete Smith talks about the different kinds of house guests that can be pests, and how to deal with them. There is the manhandler, who greets his hosts in a physical over-enthusiastic manner. There is the gushy guest, who makes the host nervous by rearranging everything in the house. There is the unexpected guest, who always seems to arrive at the most inopportune time. Then there are those who having annoying habits at the dinner table, from the soup slurper, to the know-it-all chit-chatterer, to the one who plays games at the table, to the picky eater, to the chair tilter. And finally, there are those that have no respect for the host's personal property or personal space.
