Spain: eighteenth century. In the same society painted by Francisco de Goya in his paintings, the Countess of Gualda and the famous popular singer from Madrid Petrilla are so physically similar that even the people closest to the two women confuse them. One day, Petrilla discovers that the man she loves is living a passionate affair with the Countess. Since that time, she will be devoted to hurt her opponent.
