Toto is a nice scoundrel: he just steals dogs, which he then brings back to their owner. The often generous rewards he receives in this way allow him to live without getting too tired. One day, he meets the young and pretty Ginette, with whom he falls head over heels in love. Unfortunately, arrested by the police, he was sentenced to one year in prison.
