Educational Pictures made a short series of Hollywood Girls comedies. This one, just like the first, was directed by Fatty Arbuckle but unlike the first, "Crashing Hollywood" is quite funny and enjoyable. When the story begins, a country cousin, Helen, arrives in Hollywood to make it big. She stays with her cousin and her friend and the pair assume Helen is very naïve since she's unfamiliar with the big city. However, again and again, Helen shocks them as she seems perfectly suited for the big time...and by the time she arrives at their apartment, a studio boss boss has ALREADY asked Helen to marry him!! What's next? See the film. The story is cute and clever and, at times funny....none of which were present in the first film. Because of this, it's a major success...and is well worth seeing.
