Factory owner Bingen leads a strict regime from which his wife Helga suffers and which drives his son Kurt out of the house. The exotic Myra, the medium of the vertigo telepath Spinelli, seduces Kurt, so that he also leaves his fiancée Amélie and when in debt breaks into his father 's house.
