Old man Suggs was feeling Kippy one day, so his son Joel, a little short of pocket money, persuades him to sign over all his property to him, and relieve the old gent of all the worry, he said. Shortly after, Joel got a hunch that the old Duffer was a nuisance, so sent him to the home for the destitute. The old man lived there for some time, then decided that Joel, the Fox, has sluffed one over on him. He gets a lawyer and finds that his son's attorney left a loop-hole, and the deeds he held were valueless. Old Suggs then cuts loose and paints the town Green. He turns his son out, then gets married and settles down to take life easy. Moral: Bring up your father so he won't be ungrateful.
