Roscoe, in the company of a so-far unidentified starlet, pokes at a jellyfish, takes a couple of tumbles, steals a wheelchair and is tormented by some young boys in this Keystone split-reel comedy. You can find it online on the "Hollywood in Color" site, where it looks like it was preserved just in time.Although Arbuckle had been appearing in the movies for four years by this time, he was still the new kid on the Keystonet lot, and the studio was producing a fair number of split-reel comedies, mostly to test out new talent. Roscoe shows his flair for casual gags in this shot-on-the- spur-of-the-moment farce, but its interest is largely historical. Roscoe would soon get the chance to show what he could do and become one of Sennett's leading stars, but that would not be until the following year -- a long time in the fast-evolving world of screen comedy.
